With just over 24 hours left until the deadline for the CRC scheme, the Environment Agency is stressing it is still not too late for companies to take action and avoid late registration fines.
So far almost 2,700 organisations have filed details with the EA, with several hundred in the process of registering.
But that leaves many still not in the scheme at all, and the EA is still keen to reach them with just a day to go before the cut-off point.
“Anyone who comes to us to get the ball rolling has nothing to fear from fines,” a spokesperson told ELN.
“We urge any organisations not yet registered to get in touch with us as soon as possible. We have a dedicated helpdesk in place to guide people through the registration process and deal with any queries.”
Organisations already registers include the London Stock Exchange, Kraft Foods, Manchester United, McDonalds, P&O Ferries and Renault F-1 Team.
The EA’s helpdesk can be contacted at [email protected] or 08708 506506.
