Morgan Hope, manufacturers of lighting and heating products, have introduced the ‘Classic’ range which uses T5 high frequency lamp technology. When swapped with a standard bulb it instantly uses 30% less energy.

John Murray, Sales Director at Morgan Hope said: “T5 lamps are basically the future of lighting. They use less wattage than normal lights, are more economical and much brighter.”

The 90% saving can be achieved when combined with the Morgan Hope dimmable system. The system reduces output when it detects a lack of movement- making it useful for lighting public spaces such as stairwells which are not always occupied regularly but require constant lighting for health and safety reasons.

The improved technology means lamp life will last longer than traditional lighting to around 18,000 hours.
