Energy efficiency is seen as key on both sides of the Atlantic, according to new research. A survey into how French, English, German and American citizens perceive energy efficiency found that nine out of ten citizens view energy efficiency as an “important” issue.

However, Harris Interactive’s survey of 4,000 people (1,000 from each country), commissioned by Rexel Electrical Supplies, also suggests that in-depth knowledge of efficiency measures is “superficial”.
