Iran has issued a vague threat to stop oil exports to “some” countries, according to reports. Reuters wrote on Sunday that the Iranian oil minister, Rostam Qasemi said: “Soon we will cut exporting oil to some countries” in response to recent sanctions imposed by the West.

The reports surface as an International Atomic Energy Association team landed in Iran to try and get to the bottom of whether the country is exploring avenues for electricity production or for the development of a weapon, as many in the West believe.

Last week after the EU agreed to stop importing crude from Iran from the first of July, while some countries have done so already.
