Goldman Sachs Group plans to push $40billion (£25.4bn) into renewable energy projects over the next ten years, according to reports. The investment bank is said to believe there are “profit opportunities” with the rise of global energy demand. The investment target includes funding solar, wind, hydropower, biofuels and biomass as well as other technologies, reported Reuters.
