TEAM has been selected to provide Sovereign Housing Association with its bill validation service. Sovereign is one of the largest providers of affordable housing in the south and south-west of England, with an ever-increasing portfolio of 1,000 communal properties and over 34 000 properties. Working in partnership with the TEAM Energy Bureau, Sovereign will be able to take a centralised approach to billing, with one point for processing all communal utility bills across the organisation. This enhanced service will ultimately save money for its customers.
Martin Theobald, Bureau Services Manager, explains “A combination of our knowledge and the utilisation of the software will assist Sovereign by rapidly identifying billing errors and provide evidence to recover support costs. Energy Management reports generated from the database supported by the Bureau department will enable Sovereign to have a clearer idea of spend and identify savings opportunities. We have developed a collaborative and dynamic working relationship with Sovereign and early indications show that queries are being resolved in a quick and efficient manner.”
