German carmaker BMW is going to offer added extras to tempt buyers towards their new battery-powered i3 electric car.
The extra perks include installing fast-charging systems at people’s homes for its four-seat i3 city car which BMW is releasing at the end of the year, said Marcus Krieg, a sales and marketing manager.
At a presentation in Leipzig, Germany he said customers will also be able to borrow traditional fuel-powered vehicles from car dealers for weekend breaks or longer trips, the website Automotive News reported.
