Business Development Manager – New Business
The client, a Big 6 energy supplier, has an exciting opportunity that has become available within Industrial and Commercial Markets for a high performing Business Development Manager to join their Corporate Sales team to grow their gas portfolio.
They are looking for someone that has previous sales and business development experience to develop and manage relationships with large customers and energy consultants / intermediaries (TPIs) across the UK, negotiating complex energy contracts at all levels. You will be responsible for generating strategic sales plans for your territory, and individual account plans for key Industrial and Commercial customers.
Ideally you will have come from an Energy environment (previous gas experience will be very beneficial) and have some working knowledge of the Utilities industry. You will need to be a self starter as you will work from home and be flexible to travel across the UK. You will have a track record in negotiating and executing commercial agreements and be a confident communicator with an ability to deliver complex messages simply, clearly and concisely.
