Gamesa has announced it is selling a wind farm in Mexico which has a total capacity of 74MW.

The facility includes 37 turbines and will generate enough electricity to power around 7,500 homes a year.

The project represents close to 4% of the nation’s installed wind capacity, the firm said.

Group Mexico has bought the wind farm but Gamesa will continue to operate and maintain it for the next five years.

The Spanish manufacturer has built and commissioned more than 244MW of wind farms in Mexico.
