Families could save up to £700 per year by brushing up on their culinary skills.

A survey by WRAP’s Love Food Hate Waste campaign has found that a quarter of those surveyed are not confident they could use leftovers to make another meal. The skills are in danger of being lost from “generation to generation”, claims the waste body.

The campaign will be offering free cookery classes around the UK next year.
