Jonathan works closely with senior industry figures and policymakers to promote the sustainable development of the decentralised energy sector in the UK, including through combined heat and power, district heating, and demand side services. He has responsibility for leading and managing policy development and communications at the Association for Decentralised Energy, which represents both the users and suppliers of energy.
Jonathan previously worked as a senior researcher in Parliament, and as a journalist for several North American newspapers and magazines. Jonathan holds a BA from Tufts University and an MSc in Public Policy from Queen Mary, University of London. He grew up in Vancouver, Canada, but has lived in the United Kingdom since 2008.
