The Government of Panama has told its people not to waste energy.

According to the National Authority of Public Services (ASEP), the electricity consumption in the last three years has increased by 93 MW per hour.

This has boosted the economy of the country but a study by ASEP has shown that Panamanian’s don’t really care about saving energy and the environment.

The report states: “We urge the people to save energy. It is the naked truth that Panamanians consume too much energy than before.”

ASEP is trying to increase energy saving awareness in the country.
