Matt Hancock has been announced as Minister for the Cabinet Office.

He no longer holds his ministerial posts at the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).

The Conservative MP for West Suffolk will now take forward the efficiency and civil service reform role at the Cabinet Office.

Prime Minister David Cameron made the announcement on his official twitter account.

Amber Rudd was named the Energy and Climate Change Secretary this morning.

It comes as he has been announcing the final roles in his cabinet following the Conservative Party’s unexpected win last week.
