London based – Energy & Sustainability Consultancy
Our client, a fast growing Energy & Sustainability Consultancy, seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to join their organisation. Reporting into the CEO, this role has arisen due to growth and expansion within the business.
A critical strategy for their clients and their successful growth is the provision of Managed Services – long term assignments where actionable insight, advice, compliance reporting and engagement are provided periodically to the client.
With their assistance their clients use this data to establish their energy performance improvements.
At the heart of this service is the collection, management and reporting of client’s energy related data. These Managed Services are provided to clients on multi-year contracts and are responsible for reducing clients’ energy consumption and spend.
You will be responsible for the growth of this already successful service line through the acquisition and development of clients to significantly increase revenue and market penetration.
• Must revel in complex sales, clearly articulating then gaining support and spend for consulting based solutions
• Must be able to work within a structured, yet dynamic sales environment accurately identifying, forecasting and closing multi-year contracts
• Must have track record of working with strategic, solution selling sales methods such as Miller-Heimann or Huthwaite
• Experience of working in Energy Performance would be advantageous
