It was another successful year for The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCAs) as the winners were revealed at a glitzy ceremony at the Mermaid Theatre in London today.

A fabulous third year – even bigger and better – with more than 500 people from both the energy consultancy sector as well as suppliers.

We had more entries battling it out for 12 awards this year, which included three new ones – Energy Management Champion, Energy Buying Team of the Year and Business Person of the Year.

Schneider Electric took home the Large Consultancy of the Year award (sponsored by npower) after having to share the crown with Utilyx last year.

Utilyx however snapped up GDF SUEZ Energy UK’s Energy Management Champion award.

Indigo Swan won the Small Consultancy of the Year award (also sponsored by npower) after being crowned the East of England winner at the roadshows earlier this month.

The company picked up a second trophy – ScottishPower’s award for Most Trusted.

The Best Advice award (sponsored by British Gas Business) was given to Purchase Direct and Make It Cheaper bagged the Best Customer Service award (sponsored by CNG).

Inenco was another double winner, taking home the ELN sponsored gong for Energy Buying Team of the Year and the Consumer Champion award (sponsored by Haven Power).

Shining a light on those who might not otherwise be seen, the Unsung Hero award (sponsored by EDF Energy) went to Diana Bebic from Alfa Energy Group.

Bragging rights for Sales Professional of the Year (sponsored by McLean Ross) went to Fiona Howe from Utility Helpline while Andrew Diplock from UES Energy was named the Business Person of th Year (sponsored by Hudson Energy).

The winners and nominees are now ready to celebrate the night with a fabulous dinner and after show party.

Congratulations to everyone and hope see you all next year!
