UK investment firm Bluefield Solar Income has bought three solar assets for a total of £5.95 million.

These include Bluefield EIS Solar (463KW), Bluefield Kite (874KW) and Bluefield Peregrine (430KW) which in total are made up of 28 solar plants.

They have been in operation for more than three years.

The Solar EIS Plant is a rooftop installation on a large commercial building in Corby, Northants. It has been generating electricity since the end of July 2011 and has a 25-year feed-in tariff.

The Peregrine portfolio consists of nine plants installed at various water treatment plant sites south and west of London owned by Thames Water Utilities.

The Kite portfolio consists of 19 plants, all but one of which are installed at water treatment plant sites in Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire owned by Thames Water Utilities. There is also a 50KW rooftop plant on Millennium Seed Bank, located in Wakefield Place.
