E.ON has the “cheapest” energy deal in the UK in more than four years.

The new tariff, which E.ON won through a collective switch initiative, costs £803 per year, £28 lower than the market’s current cheapest tariff from GB Energy Supply.

Customers could save up to £292 on their energy bills compared to the average Big Six bills.

It is available only through uSwitch which estimates if householders who are on a Big Six tariff switch collectively to the new deal they could save up to £5.4 billion.

Customers who are interested in the tariff can switch until 3rd of November. There is a penalty of £30 for early exit from the deal.
