A UK investment company has bought 4.2MW of solar projects.

John Laing Environmental Assets Group (JLEN) paid £18.8 million for 796 projects.

They consist of residential and commercial rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations across England, Wales and Scotland.

They will benefit from the Feed-in Tariff scheme for 25 years.

Earlier this year the UK Government proposed reductions to support solar and biomass projects.
