Spanish wind manufacturer Gamesa is to build two wind farms with a capacity of 100MW each in India.

Each wind project will consist of 50 turbines.

They will be located in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh and are scheduled to start operating in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Gamesa will also be in charge of operating the project.

The company claims it has installed 450MW of wind capacity in the third quarter of this year in India.
