The UK gas system is well supplied, according to npower’s daily market report.
The linepack is forecast to close around 5mcm long.
Sarah Astley from npower’s Optimistation Desk said: “Above average temperatures continue to suppress demand and they are forecast to remain above average for the rest of the week and possibly into next week.”
Langeled flows are at 54mcm and LNG is at 34mcm.
Ms Marshall added: “Flows from Holland via the BBL (Balgzand Bacton Line) pipeline at 16mcm are also adding to the healthy supply picture.”
On the power system, the peak margin is forecast below 11GW.
Wind is generating more than 5GW and is forecast to reach 7GW this afternoon.
That has reduced the requirement for CCGT to 10.5GW, according to Ms Marshall.
Oil is trading below $48 per barrel (£30.7).
