Now that the first compliance phase of the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) is complete, Utilitywise is keen to hear your views.
Will you seize the opportunity to make energy efficiency improvements? Are you on the path to ISO 50001 compliance or just glad ESOS is out of the way until phase 2 in 2019? Whatever your thoughts, we’d love to hear them.
Utilitywise conducted their first ESOS survey in April 2015 to assess affected organisations’ progress towards compliance. Ten months on and effectively two deadlines later we’re eager to learn how things have developed.
In April, over one fifth of respondents said they would wait until October or November 2015 to start compliance and 57% thought it would take between 3-6 months. Did they wait? Did they miss the deadline?
Initial estimates indicated approximately £1.7bn of net benefits to the UK. For the 59% of businesses that had not budgeted for ESOS, has the scheme delivered the significant savings opportunities UK plc had hoped, or does it struggle to cover the costs of compliance?
Complete our survey and you’ll find out how you compare against your peers – we’ll share the results with everyone who responds. Individual responses will not be disclosed.
WIN an iPad mini 2!
If you have five minutes to spare, answering our ESOS survey will also give you the chance to win a 16GB iPad mini 2 Wi-Fi. We have two to give away – if you’re lucky enough to be our 50th or 100th respondent then an iPad mini 2 will be yours.
The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete and the deadline to respond is Friday 26th February 2016. If you have any queries regarding this survey please email [email protected]
Thank you for taking part.
