Our client, a well-known utility provider, seeks a Head of Relational Sales to join their growing energy solutions team.
The role will be to build and deliver the strategic vision for the Enterprise Major Sales Team. You will lead a team of Account Managers and will work to form relationships with key strategic accounts, taking products and services to market to create strong sales growth.
You will build and lead a relational sales business plan, and create an account penetration and cross sales strategy. You’ll lead the delivery, including setting targets and incentives which encourage longer and broader business opportunities.
Working with your team, you’ll proactively target new and existing high value national accounts, motivating and enabling the team to achieve profit and quality targets.
Experience of managing a high-performing sales team and delivering growth through these teams is a key requirement. You should also have a strong understanding of consultative or challenger sales approaches and be able to coach your team to deploy these.
Previous experience within in a large organisation and delivering value for large national accounts is essential.
Sector expertise which would be of value includes retail, financial sector, manufacturing and education. Previous experience in Energy Services, M&E Contracting or Facilities Management would be a distinct advantage.
