Japan installed 244MW of new wind capacity in 2015.
That took the total capacity to 30.3GW at the end of last year, new figures from the Japan Wind Power Association (JWPA) revealed.
That’s a total of 434 wind farms across the country, it added.
The JWPA expects to have a total wind capacity of 31.16GW at the end of March this year.
