Our client, a market leading design consultancy specialising in sustainability and energy efficiency designs, are looking for a sustainability engineer with a strong building services background. They operate across multiple sectors within building services including commercial, residential, mixed use and education.

Responsibilities
Duties will include thermal / energy modelling of buildings ideally using TAS, building physics ideally CFD modelling, understanding of the building certification process, planning and design advice, renewable energy feasibility studies, report writing, proposal writing, and liaising with clients.

Experience
Candidates should have approximately 4 years’ previous experience in a sustainability / energy consultancy. Candidates will be required to demonstrate strength in running projects, project management, budget control and hold a good understanding of sustainable building design, renewables and low carbon technology.

Qualifications – Relevant academic background – BSc/ MSc in an environmental or engineering discipline, along with membership of a relevant professional body.
