Spanish turbine manufacturer Gamesa has bagged orders for five wind farms in the UK.
It has been contracted to supply 33MW by REG Windpower, which has been sold to funds managed by US-based BlackRock.
Gamesa will install 17 turbines in total at the wind farms located in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
They are planned for delivery during the second quarter of this year and the wind farms are expected to be operational a few months later.
The Spanish company maintains close to 500MW of capacity in the UK.
