The Organisation
We are currently working with a Global FM company within their energy performance team. This team work on the design and delivery of multi million pound facilities across the UK and have a proven track record in the industry. Our client are looking for an Energy Manager to join their Birimgham based team
Candidate responsibilities:
- Modelling savings from implementation of measures
- Producing monthly and quarterly consumption reports including profile analysis, exception reporting and benchmarking
- Analysing energy data using AM&T software & reporting on consumption patterns
- Analysing and evaluating electrical data for suitability of energy efficiency measures such as voltage optimisation, HF lighting, VSDs and PFC
- Continuously developing methodology and supporting technical skills covering Refrigeration, HVAC, Compressed Air, VSDs, CHP, Motors & Drives, Lighting, Industrial Boilers & Steam Systems, Metering and Data Collection
- Project management of implementation of energy conservation measures or drawing on specialist resources/skill-sets from the industry
- Experience in carrying out audits and inspections on Refrigeration, HVAC and control systems, lighting and lighting control systems
- Experience in carrying out specific audits in hospitals, university campuses and corporate offices
- Developing energy conservation measures for energy performance contracts including lighting replacement schemes, insulation measures etc
- Manipulate and interrogate large energy datasets
- Contract schedules & measurement and verification plans
- Legislation Compliance Support (ESOS, CRC, Mandatory GHG reporting, ISO 50001 certification)
- Written descriptions of measures Bid presentations
- Workshops with client and client’s consultants
Qualifications or Required Experience:
- Engineering or relevant science degree
- Experience (2-5 years) of providing energy consultancy services to UK public and private sector clients
- Familiarity with building services technology
- Familiarity with writing and presenting proposals to clients from different backgrounds and in various industries
- Demonstrable commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability
- Ideally ESOS Lead Assessor or working towards becoming a Lead Assessor
- Good understanding and familiarity with legislation: Building Regulations, EPCs, DECs, CRC, ESOS, Mandatory GHG Reporting, CCA and experience in ISO 140001 and ISO 50001
- Familiarity and experience of working with energy monitoring and reporting platforms
