Our client, an exciting new energy technology start up, seeks a Commercial Analyst to join their Energy Storage team. Reporting into the Commercial Manager, this role will be responsible for creating and improving a wide range of commercial storage project models to support overall business development, business case assessment and deployments.
Working closely with the Commercial Manager and Lead Engineer, the key deliverables and responsibilities of the Commercial Analyst include;
- Develop customer-specific commercial models based on customer data that identifies the storage proposition and the costs/revenue streams available from deployment of storage capacity by our client
- Leverage team technical expertise to validate economic models against key technical constraints
- Qualify organisation and asset types through industry research.
- Conduct research on market and competitor developments in the energy storage sector.
The ideal person will have a University degree, at least 5 years’ of relevant work experience in a commercial or technical analytical role across one or more sectors of the electricity industry (preferably in a technical capacity – e.g. DNO, renewable or other generation organisation, or the wider electricity market);
