So that was the week that was.

Thanks to all of you who viewed and listened to our series of webinars last week at our inaugural virtual conference, Energy Live Online.

More than 1450 viewers tuned in through the week, a fantastic figure and it justified our view that the appetite to learn is out there, it’s just really hard for all of us to get out to events to do so.

From water competition to Brexit, private wire PPAs to infrastructure, trust to sustainabilty. We had it all. My heartfelt thanks to all the speakers who made time to make this happen and of course to you for listening.

I loved the interaction of the webinar format and a great many of you asked some brilliant questions. You can of course listen again to anything you missed, just go to the ELO page and find the session and listen again. Remember to do so, you do need to sign up to Brighttalk, the web platform we use.

Many of you may have questions if you do, just send them to me and I will pass them on to the relevant speaker.

I really enjoyed hosting them and my thanks to my Chief Reporter Priyanka Shrestha for her hosting too.

My apologies for the session on fracking which had to be cancelled at the last minute as Chris Faulkner was unable to make it from Houston, Texas but these things happen.

If you have any feedback let us know what we could have done better. We hope to repeat this conference later in the year and any lessons would be much appreciated.

So thanks for listening and supporting us again in our latest innovation and we hope you found it worthwhile.
