Andy Kindleysides from Indigo Swan took home the Unsung Hero trophy at The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCA).

Speaking to ELN after winning the award, the Innovation Engineer was “totally lost for words”.

He said: “I’ve put a lot of hard work in the last six years working for Indigo Swan, helping our customers when they have problems. That’s what I do, I just turn the cogs and let the sales guys get on so it’s nice to be recognised for somebody at the back end of the process.”

The judges said Mr Kindleysides stood out “with probably the toughest job of those shortlisted and the strongest customer endorsements, recommending them for a national honour no less.”

The winners of TELCA 2016 were announced at a ceremony in London last week.
