The Best Customer Service trophy was given to YPO at The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCA).
Energy Efficiency & Policy Specialist Georgina Penfold said she was “really, really chuffed”.
When asked why she believed the company deserved the award, sponsored by CNG, Ms Penfold added: “YPO, we’re not for profit, we work pretty much exclusively with public sector, third sector and we are tireless champions of the public sector. [We’re] always working to put our customers first and make sure that our suppliers give the best possible service they can to the end user.”
The judges said YPO not only showed great examples of training and development and how this linked to the company’s values but also how transparent their benchmarking was and how open to change and improvement they were as a result of the feedback they got.
The winners of TELCA 2016 were announced at a ceremony last week.
