Our client, a European energy supplier that has recently entered the UK market, seeks a Commercial Analyst to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be on the ground floor of a new UK business, and be responsible for implementing some of the core building blocks to create a successful commercial function.
Understanding the implications of pricing strategy on acquisition & retention of customers, competition, and the bottom line financials of the business is key in supporting successful commercial decision making.
This role is tasked with developing the pricing capability of the new business. The commercial analyst will take ownership of building new models to understand costs, margin and contribution of different pricing strategies.
Their research and analysis will result in a raised awareness of the competitive environment and customer behaviour and support shaping the design of propositions, pricing of new tariffs etc.
