UK businesses can now choose to get 100% of their gas from green sources.

Total Gas & Power have released the Eco-Energy gas option alongside their existing Eco-Energy electricity contracts for small and medium sized businesses. These options allow customers to get all of their power from renewable sources in the UK.

Dave Cranfield, General Manager Total Gas & Power, said: “Our customers have been telling us they want a 100% renewable option for both fuels and we are excited to be able to meet that demand. Helping our customers achieve their environmental goals is very important to us”

The commitment to renewable energy is shared by Total Gas & Power’s parent company, Total.

In April this year, Total outlined their goal to remain a major gas player whilst laying foundations to become heavily involved in renewable and power generation sectors.

The company also announced the creation of a new division to focus on downstream gas, renewable energies and energy efficiency.
