More than 33,600 energy efficiency measures under the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) programme were installed in June.

That’s a 15% decrease compared to May, new data from BEIS has revealed.

Of all the measures implemented under the programme during the same period 36% of them were for cavity wall insulation, 25% for loft insulation and 22% for boiler upgrades.

The ECO programme combined with the Affordable Warmth and the Carbon Savings Community obligations have delivered around 1.1 million measures in 842,000 low income and vulnerable households, BEIS added.

The highest amount of ECO measures were installed in North West – 19% – while 12% were installed in Scotland and 5% in Wales.

Renewable Heat Incentive

The number of full accreditations under the Renewable Heat Incentive non-domestic scheme was more than 15,000 between November 2011 and July this year.

The number of accreditations under the RHI domestic scheme was more than 50,300 in the same period.
