The recovery operation to find the three people missing at Didcot power station has been completed.

Thames Valley Police has identified the last missing body as John Shaw.

He was one of the four killed during a partial collapse at the plant in February.

The identification of Mr Shaw’s body follows the discovery of the bodies of Ken Cresswell and Christopher Huxtable.

In a statement, npower said: “Our teams have been doing everything possible to locate and recover the missing men. The unprecedented circumstances of the highly complex recovery operation meant that our RWE teams and contractors have worked tirelessly over the past six months.

“The families have been our prime concern and the tragedy has of course had an effect on everyone involved at the site.”
