A global clean energy developer and operator has built 26MW of solar energy projects in the UK.

ET Energy’s six ground mounted clean energy plants were constructed on behalf of funds managed by Octopus Energy Investments.

The plants were completed and producing energy by the 31st of March 2017, meeting the deadline to be eligible for Renewables Obligation Certificates.

The facilities are situated in different locations across England, Wales and Scotland, with one of them being placed on top of a dormant landfill site.

Google has announced it is extending its solar viability tool into Germany in a partnership with E.ON.
