Nick Turton is External Affairs Director at the Energy Institute, which works to equip energy professionals and wider society with the knowledge, skills and good practice needed to build a safe, secure and sustainable energy system. He previously spent twenty years in Westminster, Whitehall and in consultancy advising government ministers and corporate leaders across the energy sector, dealing with issues as complex and contentious as global climate talks, new nuclear power and spiralling energy bills. His passion is for putting evidence and expertise at the heart of the public debate about energy.
