Having spent the last twenty years in leadership and operational roles across the energy sector, Jo has recently set up her own consulting company, EnergyBridge (UK) Limited, to help businesses navigate the energy market.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Jo spent her early energy career at TXU, living through its collapse and subsequent takeover by E.ON. Jo had many roles during this time including leading the large I&C muti-site business.

In 2008, Jo was appointed by SmartestEnergy to build its new start up retail business. Under Jo’s leadership the business grew quickly to profitability from a blank sheet of paper, and established itself as a recognised player in the I&C market, where it has continued to thrive.

Jo swapped sides in 2012 to head up what was then Utilyx Ltd, which had recently been acquired by Mitie plc. As Managing Director, Jo had enormous pleasure in receiving the 2014 TELCA awards for ‘Large Consultancy of the Year’ and ‘Most Trusted Consultancy’, followed in 2015 by ‘Energy Management Champion’. She therefore has first hand knowledge and experience of the importance and thrill of winning the awards.
Immediately prior to setting up EnergyBridge, Jo was MD of Cornwall Energy.
