Rob has over 20 years of experience in delivering large scale transformational change, both within industry and as a consultant. Born and raised in Australia, Rob has worked across the globe for a variety of clients across numerous industries including Financial Services, Transport, Pharma and Media, where he helped shape and lead a 3 year transformation of the Supply Chain for one of the UK’s largest pay TV organisations. Over the past 10 years, Rob has focused on the Power and Utilities industry, helping his clients navigate an ever changing consumer, regulatory and political environment across Transmission, Distribution and Retail Energy. Rob led another 3 year programme to transform a UK distributor from a functional operating model to become a process led organisation, achieving a dramatic turnaround in regulatory performance.
Rob is currently working with a number of the large UK Energy Retailers, helping them to achieve their regulatory obligations (e.g. Smart Metering deployment), and advising them on how to react to new and disruptive business models, new market entrants and a dynamic energy landscape.
Stephen is the Managing Director at Goodacre UK, the leading specialist consultancy for the finance and securities industries. He has established several businesses on behalf of Goodacre UK’s clients, including one of the largest share dealing companies in Europe, two private client Stockbrokers and an Institutional trading firm. Prior to establishing Goodacre UK, Stephen held board positions at Extel, Hoare Govett, Societe Generale Security Settlements and Cater Allen. He is a regular presenter on business development and operational issues and features regularly in the media on the full range of Securities Industry issues. Chloe is the Head of Commercial Development at Haven Power, managing the development and strategy of the Commercial department which includes Haven’s Trading and Pricing teams. Chloe has detailed knowledge of the wholesale and retail electricity markets – including all aspects of retail pricing, third party costs, demand forecasting and quantitative analysis. Her vision is changing the way we work with customers, ensuring that they have access to on-going energy expertise to drive greater efficiencies and realise the benefits of new energy management technologies.
Neil is the COO of Haven Power, managing the full end to end operation and delivery of the Haven Power strategy. He is responsible for ensuring that Haven Power is efficient and effective in delivering solutions that inspire change in energy use and help both small-to-medium enterprises (SME) and industrial and commercial (I&C) customers to realise greater business benefits. A key focus for Neil is accelerating the change amongst the Haven customer base to reliable, renewable energy.
Finlay Mccutcheon is Director of SSE Business Energy leading the way in delivering business energy in a reliable and sustainable way while building on our strong customer relationships. Finlay joined Business Energy in September 2016 after six years working in a variety of roles across the SSE Group – from Director of Offshore Renewables to Director of Group Strategy.
Gary has worked within the energy industry for more than fifteen years and has a wealth of experience across the industrial and commercial [I&C] sector, the renewable sector, and has been involved in the development and financing of industrial energy efficiency projects.

Kate is Senior Policy Manager in SSE’s Corporate Affairs division, providing support on a range on Government policy areas to SSE’s Wholesale business, including to SSE Business Energy. Prior to this role Kate spent five years working as a civil servant at the then Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). Here she worked on the development of a number of energy policies for Government including renewable energy financial incentives and was Private Secretary to the then Minister of State.
Louise Innes is the newly-appointed Head of Commercial for SSE Business Energy and leads on all commercial management for the small and large business portfolio. Prior to this Louise worked roles in both Trading and Domestic Energy, having joined SSE in October 2014. She has ten years experience in the energy industry, predominantly in large business product and pricing, with previous roles at both Ofgem and Scottish Power.

Martin Needham is Head of Commercial at Harrogate-based, gas supplier CNG. With a strong background in energy procurement, product/service implementation and broker management, Martin utilises his strong industry knowledge to advance CNG’s position in the market and improve its offering to commercial customers.
Following the launch of CNG’s Power Up strategy, which has been designed to hand power back to energy customers through improved service, communication and transparency, Martin is spearheading the development of CNG’s electricity offering which will be brought to market later in 2017.
Tony McHardy joined United Utilities in 2013 as Sales Director. He has an extensive career, spanning 25 years, in senior commercial and strategic roles within the energy and water utilities markets.
With a track record of building high performance b2b sales teams, Tony is responsible for the Sales Account Management, Business Development and Business Solutions teams, making sure that business customers benefit from tailored services to meet their needs.
Before joining United Utilities, he was General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Business Stream, where he oversaw the entry into the Scottish non-domestic competitive market and during that tenure Tony was also awarded the coveted British Excellence in Sales & Marketing Awards, Sales Director of the Year.
Gillian Noble is Sales Director for ScottishPower Energy Retail and Generation, where she has responsibility for developing and delivering ScottishPower’s strategic approach to the acquisition of Domestic, SME, Industrial &Commercial and Energy Services customer base. In addition, Gillian’s leads the development and delivery of the company’s key energy efficiency and fuel poverty government obligations, namely ECO and Warm Homes Discount, which offer a range of energy efficiency measures and solutions to support some of the most vulnerable customers in the UK.

Catherine joined Water Plus in June 2016 as our Partnership Manager focusing on TPI relationships and affinity partners for SME customers. Martin is the Business Development Manager of ScottishPower Commercial Metering and has over 37 years’ experience in the utility industry. Martin is responsible for SP Commercial Metering’s Sales, Account Management and Business Development teams, developing Meter Operations and Data Collection services, often bespoke to specific customers’ needs.
Before taking on his current role, Martin has enjoyed a wide ranging career across the ScottishPower Group of companies with roles in Customer Relationship Management, Regulation & Compliance, System Development and Business Continuity to name but a few. Martin was also one of the ScottishPower’s management team on the 1998 change program.
Martin is currently the I&C Metering and Data Services Manager with over 35 years’ experience in the utility industry. Martin is currently responsible for all operational activities spanning both the HH (including AMR) metering and data collection activities, working closely with our end customers to help them through this highly regulated market.
Prior to his current role, Martin has been responsible for a number of industry related process within the wider ScottishPower group of companies with roles in Customer Relationship Management, SME and I&C Registration, I&C Billing with H&S and Business Continuity forming a major part of these operational roles. Martin has spent the majority of his 35 years working with either I&C or SME customers.
Dan is an experienced policy professional, with over 12 years’ experience at the economic regulator of the Water Industry in England and Wales, Ofwat. Dan has held numerous roles at Ofwat, primarily focussed on developing competition policy for the competitive frameworks in the water sector, with his current role leading a number of key workstreams as part of Ofwat’s Retail Market Opening Programme. Other roles have included working on Ofwat’s 2014 price review and for a two-year period as Ofwat’s Board Secretary. Dan is a former professional footballer and is recently married.
John is the Environmental Markets Manager at Iberdrola Global Energy Management. He heads up the UK Environmental Procurement team responsible for both the commercial and regulatory aspects of ScottishPower’s compliance with the various schemes that support deployment of renewable energy and abatement of emissions. As a commercial expert in renewable energy he also supports ScottishPower Energy Retail’s Business Sales team where sustainability and renewable energy are key customer requirements.
Following eight years at Hewlett Packard he joined ScottishPower in 2007 where he has held several senior commercial roles many of which involving renewable energy procurement. He also holds an MBA in Global Energy from Warwick Business School, graduating in 2014.
