Boasting 1000 industry professionals, the London-based UK Energy Exhibition 2011 is offering the opportunity for those in the sector to find certainty in a recently uncertain market.

Covering the electricity, gas and carbon markets, the event aims to bring together industry professionals to discuss the increasing volatility of current energy markets.

Omar Ahmad, organiser of the UK Energy Exhibition 2011 said: “From September 2008 to April 2010, the wholesale energy markets were heading pretty much one way We are now seeing a huge degree of uncertainty in the markets, with market participants unsure where the market is heading next.”

The show will have exhibitors from various sectors, including: exchanges, brokerages, trading houses, utilities, upstream, midstream, downstream oil & gas companies, funds, generators, software vendors, technology companies, analysis services, industry media, data providers and consultancies.

Mr Ahmad said the response for the event was overwhelming: “Everyone is keen to exchange views with other players, and find out what the latest trends are. Nobody wants to be the last to know what’s going on, as information is a key driver of the market, especially in these unprecedented times.”

The UK Energy Exhibition 2011 will take place at the Barbican Conference Centre, London on July 6th. To find out more visit: www.ukenergyexhibition.com
