Politicians will meet next week to hear the views the Big Six energy suppliers have of the regulator’s Retail Market Review.

Taking place next Wednesday, the first of two evidence sessions is intended to assess the fairness of Ofgem’s reforms in creating a more competitive energy market.

The regulator, Ofgem, will have a chance to speak to the Select Committee on Wednesday 22 June, where they are expected to defend their aims of making a fairer market through improved transparency, clearer tariffs and a more engaged consumer body.

Martin Lawrence, Managing Director, Energy Sourcing and Customer Supply,
