UK turbine-manufacture Evance Wind today announced the availability of hire purchase packages designed to help UK businesses, schools and local government.

Evance Wind say businesses can make substantial savings and generate an income through Feed-in Tariffs. If a site has wind speeds averaging 6m/s annually the Evance R9000 will generate over 13,000kWh of energy, which the company claim is equivalent to energy costs of around £1,300 assuming a rate of 10p per kWh.

The R9000 turbine can be bought over a 5 year period through monthly payments. According to the company, with the potential reduction in energy costs, installing the turbine would result in a net outlay of less than £250 per month for the first 5 years and then an income of over £300 per month for the remaining 15 years.

The R9000 5kW wind turbine ensures maximum energy yield by generating energy at low wind speeds, and by running continuously and safely at high wind speeds and is apparently the most efficient 5KW turbine available.
