The chairman of Scottish Power has had his pay packet doubled to £10.5m. The news comes as millions of British customers recently suffered record-breaking price hikes.
Details of the company accounts have revealed Ignacio Galan received a £6m bonus for hitting targets, despite gas bills in the UK rising by 19% and electricity bills up by 10%.
MPs have shown their outrage and the Energy Select Committee is thought to be considering recalling Scottish Power executives to explain their price rises.
