Energy Secretary Chris Huhne and his estranged wife Vicky Pryce have once again been called in by Essex Police to answer questions about allegations that he tried to dodge a driving ban.The Energy Secretary faces accusations that he allegedly asked someone else to take the points for a speeding incident in 2003. Mr Huhne has repeatedly denied the charges.

A statement from the police today said: “Essex Police confirm that two people were further interviewed on Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at police stations in Essex in respect of allegations regarding a speeding offence alleged to have been committed in 2003. A file will be prepared and submitted to the CPS.”
