EBEC (European Bioenergy Expo and Conference), the UK’s largest dedicated bioenergy event, has announced a five year partnership with the Renewable Energy Association.

Gaynor Hartnell, Chief Executive of the REA, commented: “We are delighted to have formed a strategic partnership with the organisers of EBEC. It is a must-attend event for anyone in the bioenergy sector.”

The 2011 event will deal with many bioenergy solutions such as biogas, biodiesel, biofuels and biowaste. EBEC will host a programme of seminars and workshops and the launch of microgen and nextgen.

Microgen brings together manufacturers, distributors, installers and consumers of micro renewable technologies including wind and solar. Nextgen focuses on emerging technologies such as fuel cells, advanced gasification and pyrolysis.

EBEC will be held at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, on 5-6 October. With more than 150 international exhibitors and over 3,000 visitors expected to take advantage of free admission during both days.
