Energy exchange APX-ENDEX announced a new daily record on its Power NL Day-Ahead auction.

A new record of 144,201 MWh was traded on 8 August for delivery on 9 August at an average price of €41.03/MWh. This is the second record volume traded within a three week period. The previous record, 134,032 MWh, was reached on 22 July 2011.

APX-ENDEX provides power and gas exchange services for the wholesale market, operating transparent platforms for short term and futures trading in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Belgium.
