An explosion at an oil refinery in Argentina has killed one person, according to Reuters.

The plant, owned by Brazil’s Petrobras and located in the southern port city of Bahia Blanca, has a refining capacity of 31,000 barrels per day.

Petrobras said in a statement: “Industrial operations were not affected or involved in the incident, which has been contained.”

One other person was reported to have been injured by the blast.
