German energy company E.ON has agreed to sell E.ON Bulgaria to Energy-Pro, a Czech energy company, for 113 million euros.

The new owner based in North-East Bulgaria supplies a network of about 42,000 kilometres and delivers around 5.3 billion kWhr of electricity.

The sale is part of E.ON’s intention to shed assets worth 15 billion euros by the end of 2013 and has so far sold units worth 9 billion euros.
