A NASCAR racer will use a bio-based motor fuel in the popular American racing tournament next year. Taylor Malsam, the 22-year-oldrising star will use G-Oil inthe 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series, driving for the TriStar Motorsports Toyota Camry team.

Jeffrey Loch, President and CMO of fuel maker Green Earth Technologies said:”G-Oil wants to demonstrate that our American-made green racing oil can stand up to the rigours of NASCAR competition.”

The USracing group’s tournaments arewatched around the globe, with races broadcast in 150 countries. This year NASCAR used a blend of gasoline with 15% corn ethanol in all cars and trucks in its top three series.
