The Government is today appealing a decision made by the High Court back in December, which declared the change to the solar Feed-in Tariff was “unlawful.”

At the end of last year the Department of Energy and Climate Change drastically halved the subsidy granted for solar projects in the UK, eleven days before a consultation over the issue had even ended.

If DECC is granted leave to appeal, they will be heard this afternoon.
