The record-breaking Thanet wind farm off the coast of Kent is delivering a limited amount of power after faults were found on a power cable, reports claim.

The world’s biggest offshore wind farm, made up of 100 3MW turbines, is operating at a reduced output and isn’t expected to be back to full capacity until at least February.

Completed in September 2010. the 300MW farm’s operators say it has the power to supplymore than 200,000 homes per year with clean energy.
